I’ve posted about a couple of highlight meals from my college reunion trip back to Durham, and since it would take too long to get through the rest of the meals, I decided that it would probably be best to do a couple of big recap posts.
Our very first food stop in Durham, after a long and exhausting red-eye flight, was of course Bojangles’. For those of you who haven’t lived in NC, Bojangles’ is the BEST fried chicken chain stop, hands down.
The batter is perfectly crispy, and though the seasoning is simple, it’s delicious, and the chicken itself? Tender, juicy, flavorful, everything I could ask for. I know it sounds dramatic, but honestly, this is some of the best fried chicken out there for me.
We also decided to get a sausage biscuit, because why not. We were definitely off to a good start of our trip, and I was sad that this was the only fried chicken I had on the entire trip!
